New Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and New Youth Chinese Test (YCT) in 2013:
The Confucius Institute at QUT has been given official status to conduct these tests for the State of Queensland. The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) and New Youth Chinese Test (YCT) are internationally standard, comprehensive and authoritative testing systems. New HSK is designed for non-native Chinese speakers who are learning Chinese language and wish to seek opportunity to work study or live in China. New YCT is designed for primary and secondary students who are non-native Chinese language speakers.
